This manual is designed to guide food industry entrepreneurs through the many phases of developing a new food product or reformulating existing products. Food Processors Reference Manual

A practical reference work that covers a range of topics - market research, forms of business organization, liability issues, food quality and safety, packaging and labelling, manufacturing strategies, distribution, promotion, pricing, and business planning. Topics are introduced with options and considerations clearly laid out. Appropriate contact people are identified in each area, and an appendix of support services and government programs is included. This 300-page manual is available for sale through the MFPA office. It is also included as part of the new member's package for all Full members.

In the Process is a business-oriented newsletter that is published 12 times a year, covering market information, member profiles, upcoming events, and industry news.

Membership Directory and Product Guide

A comprehensive membership directory is produced on an annual basis. This facilitates networking among members, and is used as a sourcing directory by buyers from the retail and food service sectors.
